Gi joe roadblock with 50 cal and tripod8/11/2023 ![]() I then took the handle from Mark2Design's other file for a cobra. 50 cal guns box, and cut off at the handle, deleted the handle section, and printed it off without a handle. I also wanted to try another look for this gun I've seen and liked, so i made some modification to some prints to accomplish this. I'm adding some fake screws to the side to look like it is pinned into the pivot. 50 cal gun's pin to fit it's tripod, fits perfectly into the star wars tripod's pivot. ![]() This fits perfectly in scale for roadblock standing. Not unified scaling it, but in length only, so they still plug into the original file's tripod plate they attach to. I edited the tripod legs to be 3.5cm longer. I think it would fit Cobra especially well as M.A.R.S. (Even printing this off would fit with classified, as the more tech savvy weapons the line has featured. I found this awesome star wars tripod mounted gun print that is also FREE, I like the print, but the tripod this comes with is rather low, which is much like the original, but i wanted a standing level tripod for the gun as well, and i couldn't edit the file to scale up without messing up the proportions to fit the gun, and the tripod is all one piece, so you can't edit the legs individually in my software. ![]() First i took a flexible plastic bullet belt that fits the intake feed for the gun, it's better than the version that came with the print, however if you have flexible filament this will work perfect for this print's bullet belt. I've done a few mods for this gun, like printing an ammo box to attach like some versions i've seen, and then i did some other upgrades. I don't do anything crazy cool like design my own prints, but i do get to some cool projects/mods that i feel anybody could do with basic editing software, and some ideas that they can do to further a concept. I really love the sunbow riffles, and pistols, but the. packs on ebay you have seen for 6" figures is from this designer. Joe stuff, mostly classified, if you haven't checked it out, here is the designers work:Ī good deal of those J.U.M.P. I have posted previous about a designer who goes by Mark2Design, that has done amazing FREE prints for G.I. Here's a little, but effective project for you G.I. I find these are awesome, and fun to work on because of my nostalgia, and these pieces are spot on. ![]() Here is a catalog of his stuff for those interested (those sunbow guns and some original release upscales are here: Here is the thingiverse link for the pack:īut this guy has done a ton of amazing free classified scaled gi joe parts and pieces! Right now you might of seen in the forums I'm putting together my firefly (target exclusives are brutal to buy here in Canada- we are at the mercy of Scalpers), and I got an amazing print of his backpack with functioning opening compartment as seen in the original figure's. I made a ton of the sunbow pistols and riffles. I find i'm adding prints of stuff like grenades, guns, holsters, knives, sheathes, different body armour, as well as actual scaled up stuff from the original Joe stuff to fit 1/12. c'est bon! Nice work! I'm not doing anything as cool as you, designing my own stuff, but I'm finding I'm using a lot of 3d print stuff to work on my classified Joes right now. ![]()
